The new cover of Game Informer does a little more than hint at the idea of a Gears of War prequel, it downright confirms it. As a raging Gears fanatic, I can honestly say I’m pretty dang excited. I’ve been waiting for a prequel since I first played through the original game. They always teased about how intense the war was, but you never truly got a taste of that action. It will be very interesting to see how they approach this one. Rumors are ablaze around the interwebs. Read a little bit more over at Ign.com.

Honestly the picture that was blacked out looked a ton better than this blonde/bulky Matthew Lilard looking guy.
