Nerd Wars! Who is Your Favorite Starter Pokemon? (4th Gen)
We are officially four weeks into our battle to determine who your all time favorite starter Pokemon is. So far we’ve covered the first, second, and third generation choices and now we need your help to determine the best of the fourth generation.
Ha, well I’m actually replaying Diamond right now and I did choose Chimchar because I wanted a Fire-type this playthrough (don’t usually use them), but I still think all the monkey Pokemon look like crap. Mankey, Chimchar, Pansear/pour/sage, Darmanitan…the only one I kind of like is Aipom, and he’s utterly useless.
I kind of agree. Most of the monkey Pokemon look pretty silly. And the Pan-whatever Pokemon in Black and White were absolutely terrible.
they were not. my playthrough of pokemon black went pretty well because of pansear.

Since I started my game first with Chimchar and not the others, I will have to go with him. 🙂 Plus he’s the cutest starter in my opinion. 😀
He was also my starter Pokemon for this generation. That little fiery monkey warmed my heart.
I normally go with fire pokemon…but who can ignore a PENGUIN!
