Today we got some very exciting news from Play XBLA. It seems as though Microsoft has renewed the trademark for the classic fighting franchise Killer Instinct. The series is long overdue for a reboot, considering how popular the original games were. This renewal could be for something as simple as an HD remake of the original game or (cross my fingers) a full fledged, next-gen sequel. Little information has been released at this time, but for now we can all hope and pray for some news very soon.
