Let me just start off by saying that Resident Evil: Revelations is one of the best games in the franchise. It has everything you love about a great action/survival-horror experience. If you missed this gem it’s 3DS release, Capcom is giving you a second chance to play it on your Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U or even PC.
The new and improved version of the game will be released on May 21st, 2013 as a physical copy, or as a digital download for $49.99. Well worth the asking price, considering the 3DS version was originally $39.99. In honor of the this exciting news, we got a fancy new trailer to feast our eyes upon.
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO6DRCshgtg]The new version of the game will feature HD visuals, as well as “enhanced lighting effects” and an “immersive sound experience”. Console owners will also gain access to a “terrifying new enemy”, an extra difficulty mode, and sweet new content for Raid Mode.
I … might pick this up on the Wii U. The game was pretty awesome on the 3DS and I didn’t finish it. I know it’s worth the money though. It’s one of the best games in the series and on the 3DS.
That is a fact sir. I’m slightly ashamed that you didn’t beat it. It was good enough for me to beat twice. I’m definitely going to pick it up again on my Brobox.
Same here, and Capcom needs something to wash down the bad aftertaste of the last two console REs. Revelations is an excellent choice.
As much it saddens me to say, Revelations was a much better game than Resident Evil 6.
