Project X Zone is going to get a North American release, slated right for Summer 2013. The game is a strategy/action RPG featuring characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom, and Sega for the 3DS.
I’m very excited about this for one primary reason, Sega has included their Die Hard Arcade. Yes, Die Hard. That means a game where you can have a team consisting of Black Rose from .hack, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, and John “Yippee-ki-yay Motherfucker” McClane beating up Vile from Mega Man X!
If John McClane and Chun-Li have a baby, I’m pretty sure it will be our new God. Check the Japanese trailer:

This game looks literally filled with so much win, I wonder how I haven’t heard of it till now. Baffling. I would’ve checked it out anyway, but it’s just been bumped up to ‘buy’ with the addition of the Resonance of Fate characters. 🙂
Yeah I hadn’t heard of it either until I was listening to a 1up.com podcast from a few months ago and now that it’s coming here this might be a mandatory buy.

This looks pretty good! Normally I don’t go near strategy RPGs with a ten-foot pole because I’m awful at them, but I might make an exception here…
