Isaac Clark in Playstation All-Stars

February 7th, 2010 @ 00:34:11
Have you ever been playing Playstation All-Stars and thought to yourself, “Man, I wish I was blasting Fat Princess in the face with a Plasma Cutter as Isaac Clark right now.” Well, wonder no more! This March, your dreams will finally come true.

A few months back, we received Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmet Graves from Starhawk, as playable characters. Next month we get the average engineer, turned space badass, Isaac Clark and the God of Thunder himself, Zuess from God of War. This next batch of DLC will include a nifty looking MediEvil/Unfinished Swan crossover stage. Check out this great video from IGN that details the next round of DLC:

I don’t  know about you folks, but I’m pretty excited about the prospect of unleashing Isaac’s arsenal of space weaponry upon my foes. I didn’t really care about the last two characters added to the roster, but I believe these two will be a great addition to Playstation All-Star’s great lineup.

Issac Clark and Zuess will be available on the Playstation Network March 19th, 2013

  1. I am still waiting on Laura Croft, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, Solid Snake, (Liquid Snake, perhaps???) maybe Big Boss…where are the characters that defined the gameplay experience for the Playstation??? they have a lot of the newer ones but what about the truly classics?

    1. Unfortunately Sony shot themselves in the foot and sold most the exclusive rights to a lot of their “classic” characters. I so badly wanted crash bandicoot, but he is now owned by Activision…. 😦
Metal Gear and Final Fantasy have both jumped ships as exclusives as well. All those characters defined the Playstation and now Sony has no identity left.

      1. I completely agree not to mention at least two characters I wanted to see in the game have been featured in other fighting games now…such as the original Dante in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Solid Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Really I think what it breaks down to is Sony being too cheap to try and incorporate those characters into the game. My guess is they would probably have to pay some kind of expensive royalties in order to get them and they just didn’t want to shell out that kind of money for them. Quite a few of the characters on the game aren’t even Playstation exclusives anyway like Big Daddy, Raiden, and the new Dante all of which had multiplatform releases. Some of which were featured in game before they even had their OWN video game…yeah sounds like Playstation All Stars to me.
