Sony has released a new video giving a little more detail on the controller for the upcoming Playstation 4!
Not a whole lot we didn’t already know, but it’s nice to know they consulted their primary developers like Naughty Dog. I’m still on the fence about the touch feature personally but I actually have faith that Sony and their first party teams can do something interesting with the built-in speaker that Nintendo never managed with the Wii-mote. All in all, I’m taking at least one pin out of the voodoo doll I made for Sony.

I’m excited to see Sony evolving their Dualshock controllers. It’s been too much of the same for too long.

The only thing I got out of this was that the blue thingy watches you. It nice how it would switch sides on the screen if you’re playing a coop game though. They commented about it seeming minor, but it’s been a personal gripe for a while. Even with fighters I liked to be on the same side as my fighter was in the start of the match.
And the share button is pretty pimp, not that I see myself using it all that often, but I just might since it would be that easy…
