Xbox One Call of Duty: Ghosts and EA Ignite

We didn’t get much in the way of game news from the Xbox One announcement, but what we did get was jaw dropping. First and foremost we learned that the next Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Ghosts is scheduled for a November release. We also know that film writer/director Stephen Gaghan will be writing the scenario for the game. Not much was given for the story, but from what was shown it appears the United States has collapsed in a similar fashion to the Soviet Union, not full blown post-apocalypse but not pretty either. While the game is scripted, you will have character customization which is always a plus and a big emphasis on a dog companion. The graphics have been enhanced to an amazing degree adding detail not seen before in the series as well.

The other big software reveal was for EA Sports. The main focus being on the intricate, and I mean intricate, detail of the athletes that would be featured. EA’s new Ignite engine is set to show off every little flinch, every little twitch of every little muscle on screen. We know that the new Madden NFL, FIFA, NBA Live, and UFC will all launch this year.

The future is so bright, I need to wear shades… also because I have a bad eye.
