Xbox One E3 Reveal Could Very Well Tear a Rift in Time and Space

Neo-Gaf strikes again! The user Jynx has managed to snag an inside look at what could very well be the greatest E3 reveal list of all time. Hold onto your britches folks, it’s a dooozy!

  • Halo 5
  • Killer Instinct
  • FORZA 5
  • RYSE
  • FABLE 4
  • COD: Ghosts
  • BF 4
  • Witcher 3
  • Dying Light
  • PREY 2
  • Homefront 2
  • BGE 2
  • Mirror’s edge 2
  • Rainbow 6 PATRIOTS
  • Brother in Arms
  • League of legends
  • Capcom Next gen lineup:
  • Dead Rising 3 (XB1 exclusive. Capcom Vancouver)
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2 (PS4 exclusive, DD team doing it)
  • Darkstalkers Reborn (Wii-U Exclusive. Funded by Nintendo, Dimps + Ono)
  • Marvel Vs Capcom 4 (Both. Eighting + Capcom. Also “Expandable” and also allegedly taking advantage of Microsoft’s E-Sports platform tools they gave to developers)
  • Megaman (both consoles, PC and done by “A very good US developer who you won’t expect but would be very happy to hear is doing it”)
  • New IP from Capcom Vancouver
  • New IP from Ninja Theory

For now, this is all just speculation and rumor, but if even half of this is true, Microsoft is going to dominate E3. Many of these titles don’t seem far-fetched at all. We’ll have to wait until June 11th before we find out if any of this is true, but until then, let’s keep our fingers crossed!

  1. Ha! I called Killer Instinct soon as they said they had Rare working on something that would make their fans happy. And Banjo Kazooie is a nice surprise though!
The biggest surprise is Mega Man, ON The PC!
The rest aren’t sparking my interest much, unless The Witcher 3 is exclusive to Xbone. Loved the first 2, but if it goes exclusive, that will reeeaaaalllllllyyyy incite the rage of PC gamers.

    1. Killer Instinct would be amazing. I still play that game regularly. It would be rad to see a shiny, updated version. When Rare wants to, they make pure gold.
The Mega Man bit better be true! We need a new game. It’s just gotten ridiculous at this point.
I saw FORTNITE at pax last year and that could be really good and Dead Rising was the reason I bought the 360, so I’m pretty pumped for Dead Rising 3.

      1. I did not, sometimes when I think they did a game right I just stick with it. Doesn’t happen often but it did in this case.

  2. Whilst I’m 99% sure this particular list is a fake, I can see a fair few of these titles being announced at this year’s E3.
Thoroughly looking forward to a new Mirror’s Edge and also a new Rainbow Six – assuming Ubisoft haven’t dumbed it down like they have the Ghost Recon series.
Hopefully they show off some more Quantum Break as I really enjoyed Alan Wake and would love to play a new Remedy title.

    1. Yeah you can never be sure with these kinds of things. Most of this is definitely unconfirmed, but Halo: Spartan Assault was confirmed yesterday, so that bodes well for the titles on the banner anyway.
And I totally agree, I wan’t to see more Quantum Break. Remedy is a great studio and I always look forward to their next project.

  3. I can see the top 8 being exclusive, but the other titles… if Witcher 3 was an exclusive… Still I don’t see them totally owning E3 with this stuff. If Banjo and and Killer Instict are anything like the remake of Perfect Dark, that won’t help anyone.

Here’s hoping Ryze is just sick, and that Homefront 2 isn’t an exclusive either since I absolutely loved that game since it came out. The multiplayer was way better than the leading FPS games at the time on the PC (not sure of the scene on the Xbox).

  4. All of the names pack nostalgia, but I just can’t get excited about B&K when it was buried years ago, Megaman won’t have Keiji Inafune behind the wheel and Rare has absolutely no history with fighting games since 1994. I’m not peeing on anyone’s parade here, and if any of this appears to be true I’d be stoked to see how it all pans out, but I don’t want to jump the gun based on nostalgia.

    1. The BK for the 360 was actually really fun. It was a lot different then anything they’d done before, but it was well executed. I love Keiji Inafune for creating Megaman, but he has obviously lost interest in the series. There hasn’t been anything new with the series in a very long time and many of the later spin-offs were really lazily designed. Maybe Megaman needs a passionate, new team who wants to see the franchise live on.

  5. I highly doubt some of those titles will be Xbox exclusives, I know at least COD: Ghosts is already available for Preorder on Steam so those appear to be just Microsoft exclusives which I feel won’t necessarily entice very many gamers to go out and get an Xbox One. The Witcher 3 is the only one that has me pumped and The Witcher has ALWAYS been a PC title for the most part. Microsoft is really going to need to completely wow their consumers to save themselves from the dreadful PR nightmare they created after the Xbox One reveal.

    1. Yeah there are definitely a few that will not be exclusives. Of course this is all just speculation at this point anywho. I’m hoping Microsoft pulls themselves together and delivers a powerhouse run at E3.

  6. The big thing to me is that Microsoft has bought the rights to quite a few games and companies, but that does not guarantee that quality games will be released. Besides, given how sickly the Xbone seems to be, i probably won’t even give these exclusives a chance in Hell. Sorry Killer Instinct.

    1. Many of the exclusives look pretty good. The original Dead Rising is the reason I bought the 360 and the new one is looking like it’s going to offer much more than the previous games.

      1. I will admit that some of the footage for the exclusives looks interesting. Honestly though, the only one that i heard about that i wanted at first was Killer Instinct, but after watching the video for that, i just got instantly dissapointed. Now, for my gaming sights are trained on Mirror’s Edge 2, Battlefront, and pretty much the Playstation stuff. Well and Destiny of course.

      2. I was really excited to hear about Killer Instinct. I’ve been wanting a remake for a very long time. The studio behind it has a pretty shaky track record, but they’ve only been around for a few years. I’m hoping they pull a rabbit out of the hat and surprise everyone. Ryse is also looking really good. I think that was one of the most impressive looking games shown so far.
