Remember When I Said Deep Down Looked Very Confusing?

Yesterday, I explained my interests and general confusion with the upcoming PS4 exclusive, Deep Down. Well today my confusion has reached an all-time high. A new trailer released at TGS left me with more questions than ever.

I was honestly hoping for a more straight-forward trailer this time around, but there is something very intriguing about all this mystery. This new trailer strongly suggests that time travel will play a large role in this game, something that had only very been briefly and obscurely hinted at before. One day I will figure out what Deep Down is all about, until then, I will eagerly await more news.

  1. From what I’ve heard so far, it’s technology that allows you to access the memories of inanimate objects. I’d have to go back to look at it again, but if it’s right, it’s a pretty cool concept.

Also, I nominated you guys for a Liebster Award! Since you guys have been reading my blog so far, you guys were my first pick :3

    1. That is a very interesting concept. If the game is anything like these last few trailers, it’s going to be very elaborate and very confusing. I can’t wait to see more!

  2. “Come at me, Freak”, haha. Yeah it does look a little confusing. Talks about technology and intellect right off the bat then goes to scenes that are not what many people would suspect ‘technology’ to be about. Hm… adds to the confusion, but adds to the need to know what is going on!

    1. Exactly! I need to know more! It’s got a very Assassin’s Creed vibe going on right now. It has the the present linked to the past through memories and visions. Hopefully we get to see a little more combat soon.

  3. I saw Dark Souls in the tags so I was intrigued 🙂 It does seem to have a lot of similarities to Dark Souls in looks . . would be interesting to see how it plays. Although it’s Capcom so it’ll immediately be more arcady than Dark Souls but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing 🙂

    1. It was also recently announced that it will be a Free-to-Play game, so that makes me even more interested to see how it’s going to play. Hopefully we get some more info soon!
