Behold! A new generation of flavor has arrived! This adorable pink fluff-ball is called Swirlix (left) and it’s evolution (right) is called Slurpuff and these are legitimate Generation 6 Pokemon. And for a minute there I thought the Pokemon Company was running out of ideas…
Exclusive to Pokémon X, Swirlix loves sweets and eats nothing else, making its body as sweet and sticky as cotton candy.
Slurpuff has an unbelievable sense of smell—a hundred million times more sensitive than that of humans. With its highly attuned senses, it can distinguish the faintest of odors.
I love the ridiculous Pokemon. As soon as I saw Vanillite and Trubbish, I knew they were going to be a part of my permanent team and when I stumbled upon Swirlix, I knew I had found the newest member of the “Goon Squad” (That’s what I call my rag-tag team of outrageous Pokemon). I can’t wait to see what other absurd Pokemon are going to be included in the Generation 6 roster.
You can get your hands on Swirlix when Pokemon X and Y drop on October 12th.

Also, why has my beautiful Haxorus now have to be worried about a Wigglytuff!? 😦 But that being said, I welcome it. Can’t wait for the new challenges of X and Y! Going to be getting it (hopefully on the day, if lucky.) with a friend getting the opposite to what I get so we can get trading 😀

i don’t know this is a bit to much maybe in generation 7 it would be ok but i am ok with spritze and his evolution looks a bit like hypno.
Yeah there are actually quite a few really cool new Pokemon this generation. The final stages for the new starters are pretty sweet as well. It totally confirms that I’m picking Froakie.
Very cute. I prefer this cotton candy over the ice cream one we got in the last gen.
