A very good friend of mine gave me an incredibly awesome and belated Christmas gift yesterday. He contacted friend and artist, Jeff Victor and asked him to create a custom Mega Man X piece that would be worthy of hanging on my wall. The results were amazing. Check out the latest addition to my living room.
I was thrilled with the way the artwork turned out. It’s a very stylized representation of Mega Man X in basic armor that really lets Jeff’s style shine. I should have suspected something when my friend began probing me with all these oddly specific Mega Man questions, but this was a completely unexpected and welcomed gift.
If you get a minute, you should absolutely check out some of Jeff’s other pieces. He currently works for Nickelodeon as a designer and also takes on many other freelance projects. He’s developed a very unique style that incorporates more traditional cartoons with very stylized painting. I really got a kick out of Sharkham Asylum and Evil Potato.

Art is such a great gift to give to people. If you’re an artist, its a cheap way to give every presents. If you’re not an artist, you get to upgrade an artist from “ramen for every meal” to “ramen for every OTHER meal”.
