What’s better than flying a dragon with magical powers? Flying a dragon with magical powers with a bro! The multiplayer update for Crimson Dragon is officially live, so grab a buddy or two and get your tail in the game.
This hefty 4GB update will introduce two new game modes for players to enjoy. There is a traditional co-op mode allowing you and another friend to tackle the Crimsonscale virus together and a new competitive multiplayer mode that pits fellow dragon riders against each other. All of this can be yours for the price of free and with Crimson Dragon being on sale this week, there’s no better time to buy.
Crimson Dragon isn’t the strongest weapon in the Xbox One arsenal, but it delivers some intense rail-shooter action with some addicting RPG elements. Check out our review to get a better understanding of what this game has to offer.
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssss! My favorite Xbox One game just got .. favorite-er?
I wonder if it’s couch co-op as well, so I’ll finally have a reason to buy a 2nd controller?
No couch co-op… but I tried the multiplayer with a couple random bros online and it seemed to work very well.

With multiplayer now an official part of Crimson Dragon, I really hope more people pick it up. It’s a really niche title, so it’s easy to overlook, but the developers have been hard at working updating the game to appease us fans. They heard the complaint that it was too hard, so they added the Casual mode. We wanted multiplayer, so they gave us multiplayer. I feel good supporting a dev that listens to the fans.
