Grand Theft Auto Sale on Xbox Live This Week For Gold Subscribers

Take Two Interactive announced last night that Grand Theft Auto V had shipped 32 million units, which is quite an impressive number. What’s more impressive is that there are still people (like me) who haven’t played it yet! If you’ve been holding off, there is an Xbox Live sale this week for Gold subscribers, offering up to 50% off select Grand Theft Auto games and DLC.

Here’s what’s up for grabs this week —

  • Grand Theft Auto V – $40.19
  • Grand Theft Auto IV – $9.99
  • GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC – $9.99
  • GTA IV: The Lost and Damned DLC – $4.99

Will you be picking anything up? I’m still waiting to pick up GTA V and $20 isn’t that big of a discount, in my opinion.

  1. I think that $40 for GTA V is an amazing deal. It’s one of the best games if not the best from 2013 in my opinion. Plus with the online component it’s practically two games in one even if they are very similar. Rockstar has also fixed many of the bugs that initially plagued the game so you won’t have to deal with those either.

    1. I think my main complaint about the price point is that it’s for the digital version of the release when physical copies are currently the same price at a few different retail stores. Digital versions of GTA V on the 360 seem to have some framerate issues, at least from the research I’ve done.

$40 for a physical copy is a good deal for sure, It’s just not low enough for me to sink in to a digital copy.
