Today’s edition of The Daily Clip takes a detour from the usual zombie massacre or assassination footage, and ends up at the NBA 2K14 diner. I know, I know, none of our contributors are big sports gamers, but NBA 2K14 for the Xbox One is a lot of fun and we like to keep things fresh around here by playing as many different things as possible.
I’ve provided voice commentary on today’s clip, but if for some reason you don’t have sound — maybe you’re at work, or even deaf — I’ll give you a brief explanation. Most of the footage in NBA 2K14 is auto-recorded when certain events trigger, like massive dunks for instance, and I’m a self proclaimed achievement whore.
You’ll notice the score is something like 61-0 for that exact reason, as I had the sliders alllll the way down in my favor to get as many achievements as I could out of that one game. Since the Miami Heat are one of the top rated teams in the league, I went with them.. hence the mass amount of Lebron footage. I call it.. the Lebrontage.
That feeling you have right now in your heart.. that’s mysticism. Or disappointment. Your choice, really.
