Guess who got their Titanfall beta code this morning!? That’s right, this guy. For those of you who haven’t gotten a chance to try the game, come check out my in-depth look at this gargantuan multiplayer shooter.
I’m loving Titanfall. I spent a good deal of time with the alpha and I’ve already noticed some huge improvements with the beta. The AI enemies are brutal compared to the last time I played and the few additional game modes included provide some welcomed variation to matchmaking. I’ve compiled a series of videos that I believe truly captures the essence of Titan combat.

Sorry about my ghetto gangsta intro… I promised AMGfail I would do it. Hopefully this video gives you a solid understanding of how Titanfall plays. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before and it’s easily one of the most balanced shooters I’ve ever played. The folks at Respawn have truly crafted a multiplayer masterpiece and I can’t wait for it’s launch.
I will be playing the beta for the next few days and I will provide as much video content as I possibly can. Be sure to check back for some more Titanic carnage.

I need to grace that game with my presence so that others may clock out.
Did not realize that at the end of the match there is a little mini-game present with rushing to the escape chopper. Nice touch that differentiates the game and makes it more interesting even if your team got whupped! What video is next? The other 2 game modes?
Yeah I thought that was pretty cool, too. It adds a little chance for a small victory when you’re on the losing team.
And you know what, I think I might just have to make a couple more videos for those other modes. I think there are four total for the beta. I really when try “Last Titan Standing.”

Man. This looks fantastic. Love that little bit about being able to get more XP by getting to the escape chopper. I prolly won’t be able to get an Xbox One before then but it might be worth downloading on PC and putting up with Origin.
The escape rush at the end of each map is a fantastic little touch. Those moments always feel super hectic.
If you do end up getting an Xbox One, be sure to add us so we can get a Titanfall party going!
Game’s looking great, as always, and the gameplay looks solid and incredibly fun. I’ll be ‘stuck’ with the 360 version myself (had to go PS4 over Xbox One at the start; sorry Microsoft), though I am worried that they haven’t shown much of that. I read the port was being handled by a different developer, so hopefully it’ll live up to the PC and Xbox One versions.
In the meantime, keep up the videos! I can feel the awesomeness vicariously through them. 🙂
That cuts me deep…. but I can understand why someone might want the PS4 over the Xbox One.
Hopefully the 360 version does a solid job of capturing the intensity of the game. There won’t be a beta or anything for that version, so we won’t find out until launch.
