Even though the Wii U catalog is small, it still packs a big punch with some stellar exclusives like The Wonderful 101, Super Mario 3D World & Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. If you’ve been holding off on picking one up, Nintendo’s official store is now offering refurbished Wii U Deluxe consoles with Nintendoland for just $200.00.
As reported earlier today on ScrewAttack.com
Each Deluxe Set is eligible for Nintendo’s Digital Deluxe promotion. The promotion offers a system of points that’s later converted into eSHOP credits. Each digital purchase earns 10 percent in points for the user – or 599 points for a $59.99 digital purchase. The minimum conversion is 500 points for $5 in eSHOP credits.
The refurbished Deluxe Set isn’t available to register for Club Nintendo coins.
Although the Wii U continues to struggle, you can’t deny Nintendo’s ability to create some of the best first-party titles in the industry. If you have a hefty backlog of Wii games, the Wii U is also the only current-gen console that is backwards compatible and allows you to transfer all of your virtual console games and data from the Wii to the Wii U. It also has the option to upscale your Wii games to HD, making games like Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story look even better. Just some food for thought.
