New content is headed your way on March 27th for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and you can hear all about it in the new 8-minute trailer released today by Square Enix.
Entitled Through the Maelstrom, Patch 2.2 will introduce Leviathan as a brand new raid boss in The Whorleater. We’ll also have access to a brand new dungeon in The Lost City of Amdapor, featuring Diablos as one of the boss fights, as well as an Extreme version of Thornmarch and Hard versions of Brayflox’s Longstop & Halatali.

If anything, the trailer not only shows that Square Enix is out to make Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn the MMO to play, but also shows that it’s the most gorgeous MMO on the market today. It’s also the only cross-platform MMO, as Elder Scrolls Online will segregate servers based on your preference of PC, PS4 or Xbox One.
