Formerly a PS3/Vita exclusive, the metroidvania action platformer Guacamelee will be heading to the Wii U. In addition to featuring new levels, boss battles and player abilities, the newly dubbed Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition will also include all available DLC.
As of now, Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition doesn’t have a scheduled release date on Nintendo’s current-gen platform, but we’ll keep you posted!
I love the metroidvania genre but never got around to picking up Guacamelee when it released on the PC, PS3 and Vita last April. It’s still on my to-do list, so I guess I’ll just wait it out for the Wii U version instead.

Guacamelee goes to the WiiU.
I was so excited when I heard this news. I did plan to get it for my Vita, but with the WiiU release I can finally sell my Vita as this was the only game I wanted to play.
Yeah, I almost picked it up for PS3 during a few of their sales, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’d rather give Nintendo my money.
