Low Budget Gamer – Free Games on PSN Plus and More Sony Discounts!

merckings

Playstation Plus has been a subscription that practically pays for itself in a matter of weeks, and now you’ll see why. Whether you own a PS3, PS4 or a PS Vita, there are free games and discounts to be had! Enough reading though, let’s see what’s up for grabs.

Everybody loves free stuff, so let’s start there.

Playstation 4 owners can pick up Mercenary Kings and Resogun (shown above), while Playstation 3 owners can get their hands on Batman: Arkham City, Remember Me and the bro-op heist game Payday 2. PS Vita owners still get a freebie with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, but that’s your only option right now.

Those of you looking to save a couple of bones this week also have a few options.

PSP owners can pick up Obscure for $5.00, which is 50% off the regular price. PS Vita and PS3 owners can pick up The Amazing Spiderman for around $20.00 and save 10% off most of the DLC.

Definitely a nice round of freebies for Sony fans. Picking anything up?

    1. I don’t play my PS3 enough so I let my Plus subscription drop. Still think it’s worth every penny and once I eventually nab a PS4 down the line I’ll resubscribe.

      1. Right? When I was using my PS3 a lot, I pretty much beat every freebie they ever released. PSN Plus is worth every penny.

      2. It seriously is. I’m just happy they’re doing more games and popular titles like Borderlands on top of the Indie games

      3. Yeah, it’s always a nice blend of retail and indie titles. Now if they’d just release a PS4 + inFamous bundle, I’d pick one up. MLB The Show 14 comes out soon, and I need that in my life. Not the PS3 version, but the new sexy one.

      4. True that but it was nice having one for other consoles. I’m waiting for the first wave of ‘Well why isn’t it on Xbox!?’ Peopel

      5. This will be the first year I’m without a baseball game in a long time lol. It’s Sony’s only way of reeling me in, I tell ya.

    1. I was a big fan of that developer’s Scott Pilgrim beat-em-up. I also really like the Metal Slug series, so it seems right up my alley.
