Final Final Fantasy Weekend

A Realm Reborn

Hurry, hurry! This weekend is your last chance to try Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for free during the Beta 2 weekend. Beta! Then you basically have to play the full game.  Why so excited??? Well…unlike many other betas, your character will carry over to the full game if you buy it. Pretty sweet, right?

If you’re big on these type of games, this is your chance to get a head start. The official PlayStation site tells you to just log in to the store from your PS4 and download the beta. For whatever reason, I struggled with this. What I did find was that you can get it easily from the PlayStation website. How? Go to the PlayStation site, search for Final Fantasy and one of the search hits should be for the beta. On that page will be a link to download the beta. This will add it to your cart just like any other purchase. Follow through like a regular purchase and magically on your PS4 the download for the beta will appear in your PS Store library on your console.

Download and enjoy!

      1. I played Black Mage into the early 40s on the PC, then I stopped playing because of other games. The rotations for Black Mage were really fun, and I normally don’t play casters in… Well anything.

      2. There is room for every type of player. I’ve been away from these type of games for years and this was going to be my taste test back into them. Kind of sorry I’m missing out.

      3. I’ve only been playing for a month, but I have a 41 Summoner. I’m a 9+ year WoW veteran that got bored of WoW, but needed that MMO fix. I regret nothing so far.

      1. I think I might let the new things pile for a bit longer first =P Besides, these days by the time we get a large enough party together and everyone is ready to play, we only have time for a few runs before people start getting tired (where people mostly means me).
