While inFAMOUS: Second Son only recently released a few weeks ago on the PS4, developers at Sucker Punch have already been preparing to implement some small changes in the coming weeks based off requests and complaints from players.
None of these changes are huge, ground-breaking renovations, but for the most part, just small details that players have requested to see in the game. In a way, it’s actually rather encouraging to know that Sucker Punch is listening to feedback about their game and is keen on doing what they can for the gamers. (After this article, I’m planning on taking to Twitter to request a no-shirt option for Delsin. Just to see his tattoos, I swear.) Besides fixing key bugs and glitches in the game, here’s what Sucker Punch is getting ready to add to the game.
Three changes have already been announced. The first one is the ability to change the time from day to night (‘Rainy Seattle’ is rumored to be one of those options), one of their most popular requests. The second is the ability to turn the HUD on-and-off, mostly for those taking screenshots, but also for those who want a bit more of a challenge in the game. The final confirmed change is the ability to lower and lock the frame rate to 30FPS. While I myself love the unlocked frame rate, many gamers have requested the ability to lock the frame rate as the game’s automatic switching from 30FPS and 60FPS can be noticeable at times. I haven’t noticed it myself, but I was probably too busy wondering what would happen if I did an orbital drop off of the Space Needle to notice.
I myself would love to see the paper powers become available to Delsin, after completing the first part of the Paper Trail side missions. PS4 gamers, what changes would you request to be added to inFAMOUS: Second Son? Comment below!
