Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct released some much needed news on the upcoming Super Smash Bros. titles for Wii U and 3DS. With all this news also came an insane collection of screenshots. Come check out the glory and prepare for a visual sensory overload.
The craziest part about all of these screenshots is that this isn’t even a quarter of them. Nintendo released over 250 images of Super Smash Bros. and you can see them all in one convenient Flickr collection from Endless ~ AGB.
The more I see, the more I want. The new Super Smash Bros. is going to rock my world. Greninja and Mega Man are the only two characters I will ever need, but I was really excited to see Zero Suit Samus and Sheik get their very own character slots. Which characters are you guys most excited about?
There is no official release date for either version of Super Smash Bros., but the 3DS version is scheduled to release this Summer and the Wii U version is planned for Winter.

Point of order: the sexualized babification of Samus kind of defeats the purpose of Samus.
I kind of feel the same way. Samus was supposed to be a beacon of strength and independence for women, but Metroid: Other M completely destroyed that image.
I know, right? There were plenty of other female characters who were there to look good; Samus was there to get the job done. And given her name, she ought to be middle eastern (probably Kurdish). It’s like “C’mon, guy’s, she’s Samus Aran, not Samus Aryan!”
It seriously looks like they made her boobs even larger than the previous Smash Bros. game. There are enough generic sexy badass chicks in gaming, Samus was suppose to represent something more.

Fact: the sexiest woman in video games is Cooking Mama.
A close second is her sister, Gardening Mama.
Plus playing as Greninja gives me a way bigger boner than sexy Samus.
Zero Suit Samus and Mega Man are all I’ll need. Yeah, they went ahead and added two extra titties in there for no apparent reason, but still. She has neat boots.

…Whoops. I am just crazy. I am very excited that Greninja is joining the roster. Villager and Rosalina are exciting, but GRENINJA?! Honestly, at least 3DS is getting this game XD
Yeah Greninja blew my mind! I honestly didn’t expect that at all, but I’m loving it. I’d rather have Squirtle than Charizard, but it’s still cool to see at least three playable Pokemon.
To be honest… I’m surprised that the 3DS is getting this title. But, hey! Greninja’s in the new roster. And that’s more than enough reason for me to download it when it comes out.
Out of all the X and Y starters, everybody picks Chespin or Fennekin. Yet Froakie eventually turns into Greninja. Everybody else is missing out on Greninja action
As soon as I saw the starters, I knew I was going with Froakie and then when I saw his final evolution was a badass ninja, I just about lost my mind. The final evolutions for Fennekin and Chespin are pretty lame, in my opinion.
Yeah, I gotta agree. I picked Froakie because… Nobody I knew was picking him. Delphox was too weak and Chestnaught was too strong. And they can’t learn a lot of good moves. When I saw Greninja, I tried not to look insane in public.
Oh yeah Froakie was an amazing pick. We did the right thing. Plus I always go with the water starters, it’s just kind of my thing I guess.
Weird thing is I also go with water starters. No matter how much everybody else pushed me, I still picked the water type. Except for that one time I chose Cyndaquil, but I got so stuck in endless puzzles that I just restarted the game and picked Totodile
Ever since Squirtle I’ve just had a special water bond. Totodile was awesome. Almost all of the water starters have been really cool. Oshawott was by far the best last gen starter.
Yeah. Oshawott and Totodile will always be my favorites. I just kinda figured out the best strategies when I had a Samurott knocking my friend’s teams out, despite their Serperiors… Wow. Unintentional oun

He was a monster! When my Dewott was evolving I’m like “oh no, no more ninja otters” but BAM! It’s a huge knight otter with swords. I… Wow. Despite the thoughts that Oshawott was underrated, it was Embroar that was really overrated, in my opinion.
Yeah I think the main reason everybody went with him was because he was dual types. People were into the fire/fighting combo, but I thought he looked like a huge dufus.
I’m not the only one who thinks that! I knew it! Honestly, Blaziken is fire/fighting enough. Infernape brought about a small laughingstock for that type pairing. Embroar just kept going till the Miltank came home.
