Don’t get off the hype train just yet. Just days after confirming the release of Tales of Hearts R in the West, Bandai Namco has announced the details regarding the US launch for Tales of Xillia 2 on PlayStation 3.
The game takes place one year after the climactic events of its predecessor. Tales of Xillia 2 stars Ludger Will Kresnik, a chef from Trigleph city in Elympios, his brother Julius, their cat Rollo, and Elle Marta, a young girl who seeks to carry out her father’s last wish. The game also makes to reunite players with some familiar faces.
A collector’s edition was also announced that should be available for pre-order soon if not already. The CE, which is priced at about $129, contains:
- Tales of Xillia 2 Game Disc
- Ludger Will Kresnik Figure
- A Replica of Elle’s Pocket Watch
- Rolo Charm
- Tales of Xillia 2 Music Selection CD
- Tales of Xillia 2 Art Book
- Classic Tales of Costume DLC -Yuri Lowell, Emil Castagnier, and Asbel Lhant
Tales of Xillia 2 is planned to hit stateside on the 19th of August with a European release following on the 22nd.
