After initially stating that our Minecraft 360 Edition saves wouldn’t transfer over to the Xbox One, it seems that Mojang and Microsoft have finally found a way to make it all work.

After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft X360 Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition…more news soon!

There is still no official release date for the Xbox One version of Minecraft, but along with the save data transfer, I’m hoping for some sort of discount as well for 360 Edition owners to upgrade. Hell, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn did it for free.
