Ubisoft has been dropping trailer after trailer for the Chicago hack-a-thon Watch Dogs as of late, and now they’ve moved on to popping out trailers for the Season Pass content. With Watch Dogs being delayed several times and the retail release still roughly one month down the road, is this anything that shouldn’t already be on the disc to begin with?
According to the new trailer, picking up the Season Pass for Watch Dogs will not only grant you additional costumes and missions for Aiden, but also open up a new single player mission where you play as T-bone instead. There is also some weird They Live sort of mode where you scan for (what seems to be) infected citizens to take out, and/or avoid altogether.
TotalXBOX states that the Season Pass is rumored to cost just $9.99, which is a price I suppose I could get behind, but I guess I just feel like they’re all very small additions that could have easily made it on to the final cut of Watch Dogs after several delays. Maybe with Ubisoft over-hyping the game with so many different trailers, I’m just all Watch Dogs‘ed out?

You and me both brother. I have no doubt the game will be good, but a good amount of the magic of seeing it in action is gone.
Yeah, I don’t know if it’s because I feel like I’ve seen 100 different trailers in the last 2 years or the fact that content I have to pay for is already being advertised a month before the game even hits store shelves, but I’m just not excited anymore.
