Titan Comics, a division of the company behind The Art of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and The Art of Titanfall, is releasing a four-part mini-series for The Evil Within, with a story taking place before the terrifying events of the game.
[youtube http://youtu.be/X3t1TVtfUfE]Written by Ian Edginton (Scarlet Traces, Victorian Undead) and illustrated by Alex Sanchez (Katana), this comic prequel gives fans the opportunity to get an expanded look at the twisted world of The Evil Within created by the grand master of survival-horror Shinji Mikami.
The art style for the cover image may seem very familiar to many of you. It was created by Ben Templesmith, most well-known for his work on the 30 Days of Night series.
The first of the four-part series is scheduled to release on August 27t, 2014 for the low price of $3.99.
I can’t wait to get my hands on The Evil Within. It’s definitely one of the games I’m most excited for this year. Shinji Mikami and Bethesda Softworks have an enormous opportunity to renew everyone’s faith in the survival-horror genre and deliver something we’ve never quite seen before.
