Evolution Studios recently released some details about the PlayStation Plus edition of their game, DRIVECLUB. Members can look forward to a few rather tasty treats.
Just last week, we found out when DRIVECLUB will be released. Today we get details on what PlayStation Plus members will get the free edition of the game. Here’s the breakdown:
PlayStation Plus Edition
- 1 Location – India
- 11 tracks
- 10 cars
- Access to all game modes
- Free with PS Plus membership
Full Edition
- 5 Locations
- 55 Tracks
- 50 Cars
- 50 Tour Events
- $59.99
PS Plus members can pay $50 for a one-time upgrade to the full version. There seems to be some confusion and anger over how the upgrade works. The way the official post is worded is somewhat unclear. Makes it sound as though if you pay for the upgrade and let your PS Plus subscription lapse, you will lose access to the game completely. I reread it several times and I thought they may have been trying to say the access to all 50 tracks was contingent on keeping you subscription current. It would not be a good move by Evolution Studios or PlayStation to revoke access to a $50 purchase of a full game.
I sent a couple of Tweets to the the game’s official Twitter account(@DRIVECLUB) and its Senior Community Manager(@PhenomEvolution). If I get any clarification, I’ll be sure to pass it on.

Really looking forward to this. Seems a bit different from the usual racing game
I’m curious how all the “social” elements work that they keep talking up. I’ll definitely try the PS+ version.
I’m intrigued by the game, but the terms and conditions sound a bit off. Hopefully they respond and you get some clarification.
Definitely needs some more detail. We’ll see if they respond.
