Without wasting any time, footage of Nintendo’s newest entry in the Pokemon franchise has been released. While it’s only a short clip, it’s a tantalizing glimpse at what the remake of the best-selling Game Boy Advanced games has to offer.
It feels just like a couple of days since we shared the exciting news: Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire were finally getting the ultra-spa treatment with a fresh face and uplifted graphics, joining the ranks of HeartGold, SoulSilver, FireRed, and LeafGreen. Given the title of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and being marketed to the Nintendo 3DS, the internet has been abuzz since Nintendo has dropped this bomb on us.
And to add to our nostalgia, someone on YouTube has gotten ahold of a short clip of the gameplay that’s been developed for the title set to release this holiday season, no doubt part of a possible E3 presentation. While, once again, it’s short, the clip offers a tantalizing glimpse at the remastered soundtrack, new character models, a ‘Dance’ feature, which seems to be both a fun activity for you and your Pokemon, as well as a new battle style. It seems a bit farfetch’d, but Nintendo is no stranger at adding in new ideas to their games. I’m sure some of us still thought Pokemon Aime was going to flop, and then we all spent countless hours petting Yveltal and feeding him treats until he was gorged. And then, of course, the graphics are amazing. Nintendo really has been going the extra mile remaking the popular title.
But I’ll let you check it out for yourself.

Haha, you tricked me. I thought it’s going to be the real deal!
Not going to lie, it got me too! Then I had a laugh and replayed it about a dozen times. I should have expected this to happen.
I have watched this video like 20 times elsewhere on the internet, and only got that it was a “gameplay spoof” until this article.
It doesn’t help that I actually really like this song. Talk dirty to me! *trumpet breakdown*
It was a match made in heaven. This song needs to be in the game now.
