You can download ridiculous apps for just about anything and now, even Titanfall has an app. This handy companion will help find a friend on the battlefield, but it won’t help you find a tasty sandwich.
EA has released an official app for one of their hottest games. If playing the game or reading about the game at home just wasn’t enough, you can now add on-the-go access to all the lure. After signing in with your Xbox Live account and connecting to your Xbox One, you can even check your personal stats.
The most interesting feature is the battlefield map. It will update in real-time as you play. This can help you find friends and foes quickly. This larger screen of the map is nice, but in my experience it causes the player to draw their eyes away from the action on screen.
You may want to be on a WiFi connection for this download. It clocks in at 615MB and pulls an update the first time you open.
New DLC? Game patches? Companion app? Price drop? Do you think EA and Microsoft are pushing this game kind of hard this week?

It’s not the best selling game for 2 months in a row for nothing, I suppose! Hell, there were even two Titanfall commercials during the Godzilla previews yesterday.
And you don’t need a Kinect to play it. Oops, MS probably doesn’t want more talk about that.
