As one of the few launch titles still receiving new content, Ryse: Son of Rome has built quite the cult following with its bro-op Colosseum mode. If you’re still one of the Ryse faithful, Morituri, the latest DLC pack, releases today for $7.99 on the Xbox One.
Morituri features 5 new maps — 3 Gladiator, 2 Survival — and a fresh set of character armor modeled after Oswald, King of the Britons.
Xbox Wire explained the new maps a little bit, so I’ll quote them here for you.
“Beacon tasks players with infiltrating a barbarian camp, False Gods has gladiators battling in Ancient Egyptian temples, and Revolution is set amid the crumbling ruins of the once majestic Roman Empire. In Sulfur River and The Forbidden Forest, navigate an onslaught of perilous traps as you battle against insurmountable odds until the bitter end.”
Crytek has also optimized Beacon, Revolution, False Gods, Market and Garden for those of you who prefer to tackle the Colosseum solo. If you want to take a sneak peek first, here’s 7 screenshots from Total Xbox.

But where are the weapons?
