It’s officially the first day of June, and Microsoft wants to help kick off the new month with lots and lots of dying. From Software‘s Dark Souls is now available free of charge to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers through the Xbox Live Games With Gold promotion.
Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition and Charlie Murder will also be free to Xbox 360 owners later this month, offering up arguably the most well designed fighting game on the market and an indie beat-em-up by Ska Studios, creators of The Dishwasher series and I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT!!!1.
Xbox One owners will finally taste the Games With Gold promotion at some point this month with indie platformer Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and the Halo-themed twin-stick shooter Halo: Spartan Assault. As of today, neither game is currently free on Xbox Live, but as soon as that changes we’ll let you know!
