Russian developer Dinosaurum Games have revealed their latest PS4 exclusive, a “third-person interactive thriller” by the name of Without Memory. Drawing inspiration from Quantic Dream‘s Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, we can expect a heavy focus on narrative, but Dinosaurum will be pushing graphical limits as well by utilizing the new Unreal Engine 4.
According to GameSpot, Without Memory will be an entirely single-player experience and make extensive use of the DualShock 4 controller. Whether or not we’ll hear about Without Memory at E3 is anyone’s guess, but Dinosaurum did confirm they’ll release more information this August at GDC. As of now, Without Memory is aiming for a Q2 2016 release window.
What do you think? Interesting premise, or something we’ve already seen before? If you recall our Beyond: Two Souls review, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the experience, but I always try to approach every game with a open mind.
