With the success of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, it was only a matter of time before we’d see another. Trailers surfaced back in December, but confirmed earlier today, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will release on December 2nd in North America and December 5th across the pond in Europe exclusively on PS3.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will feature remastered FINAL MIX versions of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth by Sleep, as well as HD remasters of the in-game cinematics from Re:coded.

Stay tuned at the end of the trailer for a sneak peak at Kingdom Hearts III.

  1. I really really want them to release these on Steam, but I’m not holding my breath.

Fun fact: The reason they are making remixes and have taken as long as they have to do so is that all of the original resources were lost and had to be remade from scratch.

  2. I effing love Kingdom Hearts, I bought Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 remix 2 months ago. It is one of my top series of games that I couldn’t live without!

    1. I really enjoyed the original, but for some reason I still haven’t picked up the remaster. It’s only $20 at some retailers too, so not sure what my excuse is.
