R.I.P. Xbox 360 wired controller, it was great while it lasted! Xbox One controller drivers have been made available today for PC users, allowing you to finally bury your old 360 controller in favor of the viciously sexy Xbox One model. Using a micro-USB, you can attach your controller to any PC and take your hands to pleasure town! Wait, that’s not what I meant.

Your PC will not automatically update your drivers, but you can download them manually over at Major Nelson’s blog. He also mentions that they do plan to include the drivers in a future Windows update, but you’ll have to tackle it the old fashioned way for now.

  1. You know, I’ve heard a lot of shit talked about the PS4 controller but it just feels so right in my hands. We don’t have a PS4 but we use one of its controllers for the PC.
