The Wii U‘s The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors hybrid Hyrule Warriors was given an official release date in a Nintendo press document we received today. As confirmed in the e-mail, Hyrule Warriors is scheduled to release this year on September 26th and will feature subtle changes in art styles as you change from zone to zone, depending on which Zelda game the zone is based on. For instance, it may feature a more cartoonish level design as you enter a Wind Waker zone, or resemble more of a watercolor painting for Skyward Sword. Impa and Midna have also been confirmed as playable characters.
With a lot of games releasing in the near future, plus what was announced during E3, will the Wii U finally pick up steam?
