Bayonetta 2‘s latest trailer confirmed its release window as October 2014, but surprised fans by including the original Bayonetta as part of the package. On top of receiving the original game, Bayonetta will also have access to Nintendo-themed costumes, such as Peach, Link and Samus Aran.
With an already stacked release schedule in October, was it smart for Nintendo to release such a huge exclusive in the middle of Sunset Overdrive, Super Smash Bros 3DS, Evolve, The Evil Within, Alien: Isolation, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor, NBA 2K15 and Driveclub? No matter how you look at it, October is going to break everyone’s wallets.

I cannot wait to play 2 and the revamped 1 again!
The original is one of my favorite games for last-gen, so it’ll be nice to revisit it on the Wii U.
damn it, I really don’t need to buy another system; my back log of games is reaching the level where it could fill several rooms.
But man does this sweeten the deal considerably.
Yeah, and the Wii U already has a solid library of games. So once you commit, prepare to commit fully.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Bayonetta in the zero suit Samus outfit.
I hope they add a good amount. 3 is fine, but more is always better. Zero Suit Samus is a good start!
