Fresh out of E3 and hot onto the PS4, it’s the Battlefield: Hardline beta! It’s everything a Battlefield game should be – if you were to take away everything about war and tactics and substitute cops and robbers. Put your get-away mask on and watch this fine footage of my terrible gameplay and listen to me let out my inner-thoughts(well…not all of them).
I’m not a big Battlefield enthusiast, but I will say that if you take into account that this a beta, the game seems just fine. Having played the Battlefield 4 beta on PS3, I can say that this beta is a graphical and mechanical leap of monumental proportions. Granted that comparing a PS3 beta to a PS4 beta doesn’t exactly provide great parity, but it just feels like this game is much further ahead of where its predecessor was.
There’s a good chance that when the full game launches in October, the Battlefield fans that have hung on will be pleased with what they get in this game. The question is – who is sticking around?

Best first-person shooter video game in 2014, but according to the latest news, EA hopes to attract GTA players with Battlefield Hardline, wow.. Happy Gaming guys! 🙂
It will be as good or better than any Battlefield game, time will tell if it is the best shooter of the year. GTA doesn’t seem like the crowd of gamers that would be attracted to Battlefield though.
