First-person indie horror title Outlast will be making its way to the Xbox One on June 24th, although it’s already available to pre-pay on Xbox Live. Featuring an atmospheric environment and a rock solid scare factor, Outlast will run you $19.99 which is basically 3 meals at Taco Bell. Do yourself a favor and eat at home for the next day or so, because Outlast is worth the price of admission.
Oddly enough, Outlast breaks Microsoft’s platform parity agreement that requires a game to release on Xbox One at the same time as other platforms. However, Microsoft’s director at ID@Xbox, Chris Charla, has stated that anyone concerned about the clause should “email me!”
No word yet if Outlast‘s Whistleblower DLC will be making its way to Xbox One, but one would assume that we’ll see it at some point.
