Low Budget Gamer: Steam Flash Sale and Community Choice Updated

The Steam Summer Sale is upon us, and although there are already a ton of games available on the cheap, every 8 hours we’re given deeper discounts on 8 different games. Four are chosen at random for a Flash Sale, while the other 4 are voted on by the Steam community, dubbed Community Choice.

The current Flash Sale just went live about 30 minutes ago, which offers the following:

• Darkfall: Unhony Wars – $3.73 (75% off)
• Jazzpunk – $7.49 (50% off)
• Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine – $1.49 (90% off)
• NBA 2K14 – $7.49 (50% off)

The Steam community voted for these four games, so they’re available at a larger discount for the next 8 hours:

• Batman: Arkham Origins – $7.49 (75% off)
• Hitman: Absolution – $3.99 (80% off)
• Sniper Elite V2 – $7.49 (75% off)
• The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – $29.99 (25% off)

If you’d like to vote for the next Community Choice discount, your options are Epic Fantasy RPG’s or Comedic Platformers. If the RPG crowd wins, we’ll get steeper discounts on Final Fantasy VII, UN-Epic, Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and Age of Mythology: Extended Edition.
