Upcoming roguelike rhythm game Crypt of the NecroDancer has developed a strong cult following among the indie crowd, mostly due to its well executed combination of two completely different genres. While there are a lucky few who have already gotten their hands on an early release (like your friends here at What’s Your Tag?), it’s not yet available to the general public.
However, according to an official Twitter post that went live yesterday, Crypt of the NecroDancer will be coming to Steam at some point in late July! For me, this is my personal #1 most wanted game in 2014, and I’m absolutely floored by what I’ve played so far in the current build. We’ll have a full day-one review upon the game’s release, but in the meantime I highly suggest you check it out online. It has an awesome premise, an absolutely amazing soundtrack, and you can even play it with a dance pad!
