If you’re an Xbox One owner who happens to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, today not only marks the release of a brand new indie game in Guacamelee!: Super Turbo Championship Edition, but it’s also a free download thanks to Microsoft’s Games With Gold promotion!
Guacamelee!: Super Turbo Championship Edition is a Metroidvania-style platformer where you play as a masked Luchador, using a wide array of wrestling moves to battle Carlos Calaca and his horde of minions. Since everything is better with bro-op, you can even team up with a tag-team partner at home for some couch co-op goodness!
This enhanced edition of Guacamelee not only includes all of the original’s DLC packs, but also brand new levels, abilities, and boss battles, making it equally appealing if you’ve already enjoyed the game before.
And just as a friendly reminder, you can still pick up Max: The Curse of Brotherhood for free during the month of July as part of the Games With Gold promotion.
