The folks over at Tool have taken it upon themselves to recreate the town of South Park using the Oculus Rift. Although “inspired” by The Stick of Truth game, it is not a remake or port of said game.
Recreated with the Unity engine on the Oculus Rift by Tool, the entire town was modeled after the representation in The Stick of Truth and season seventeen of the show.
If you happen to have an Oculus Rift, you can take a virtual trip to South Park right now by downloading the demo from Tool’s website.
The demo looks pretty amazing and the fact that they only started the development in late May is even more astounding.
