Tales-of-Hearts

Fans of the popular Tales series have something to look forward to besides the release of Tales of Xillia 2 on August 19th for North America, and August 22nd for Europe. Bandai Namco has announced that Tales of Heart R will finally be reaching international audiences. This title is set for the Vita, enticing some fans of the series to pick up the neglected handheld.

Tales producer Hideo Baba could barely contain his own excitement over the international release.

“I am very happy to announce Tales of Hearts R’s release date at the biggest Japanese culture event in the West! It is very fitting to do so, as it contains the original Japanese voice overs! I have enjoyed a lot traveling around Europe to promote the Tales of Series in many countries, and it is my pleasure to come back to Japan Expo and celebrate Tales of with the fans.

I hope the fans keep enjoying our efforts to constantly translate the game in many languages, and have fun discovering the journey of Kor Meteor, Kohaku Hearts, and all of their friends in Tales of Hearts R. Let’s get excited for the future of Tales of together!”

Tales of Hearts R revolves around a young man named Kor Meteor. Following the trend of Tales games, what starts out as a simple existence escalates into a world-shattering crisis that only a ragtag band of heroes can solve.

If you haven’t picked up a Tales game, but enjoy a good story-driven RPG with replay value, then you may want to pick up one of the two new Tales entries this year and check it out. Like myself, you’ll probably expend far too much time into the game, but with the character development and constant twists in the story, you’ll be hooked before long.
