During tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw episode, a WWE 2K15 promo ran that confirmed WCW and TNA legend Sting as a playable character, but only if you pre-order the game.
Why is this a big deal? Sting was one of the biggest wrestling superstars in the 80’s and 90’s, but when WWE bought out WCW, he never made the leap over with the rest of the company. Until right now, he was the only WCW superstar to never sign with WWE. The fact that he’s appearing in WWE 2K15, even well out of his prime, is a milestone in itself for professional wrestling.
Pre-ordering WWE 2K15 will not only get you the more modern nWo version of Sting, but also his classic bleach-blonde 80’s look as well. I’m never one to jump on pre-orders, but Sting’s wrestling era was my childhood. I need this in my life!
