If you pre-ordered Destiny and received a beta code, your time to shine has arrived. Some of you have already experienced the game via the alpha that was previously released for PS4 users, but now all who pre-ordered the game for PS3 or PS4 can jump in and experience a taste of the game until July 27th at 11:59PM Pacific. Xbox 360 and Xbox One users will be able to join the fun on July 23rd at 10AM Pacific.
The first thing you have to do is redeem the Beta code on Bungie‘s website. Be warned that the Sony servers are experiencing a high-level of traffic, so it may take you a couple of tries to log into your PlayStation Network account.
There’s no information yet on whether or not progress made in the beta will carry over to the game upon it’s retail release. Players who play after 8PM on July 26th will receive an exclusive emblem for use in the full retail version of Destiny.
Destiny releases on September 9th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.

Just sucks that you have to preorder the game prior to downloading the beta, my boyfriend through a fit because he didn’t want to preorder the game. 🙂
I don’t blame him. There is no incentive to pay full price for a digital release aside from beta access.
Very true!
My boyfriend wouldn’t leave me alone until I pre-ordered it. So for the sake of my phone not blowing up, I did, lmao
Lol ok good!
