Dragon Age: Inquisition Delayed Until November 18th

Dragon Age: Inquisition has suffered its fair share of delays, and it looks like it will be suffering one more before we finally get our hands on it. Fear not warriors, for the wait is only extended by about 5 weeks.

The team has decided to delay the game for a little over one month, changing the release date from October 7th to November 18th for North America, and November 21st for Europe.

“This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see. Ensuring that our open spaces are as engaging as possible. Strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero’s choices. And ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on.” – Mark Darrah, executive producer

While part of me is disappointed, another part of me is relieved. October 7th had originally looked to be painful on the wallets of gamers, with a total of seven titles being released. Now, Dragon Age: Inquisition only shares a release date with Far Cry 4, though it releases on the same week as Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey.

Overall, fall/winter of 2014 is looking disastrous on my wallet. What games are you looking forward to in the fourth quarter?

  1. Sunset Overdrive is at the top of my list for fall releases, but I really want to check out Dragon Age as well. Hopefully we’ll get a more concrete date for Smash Bros on Wii U.

  2. November 21st?! That’s… GAH! They’re not being very nice here. I’ll just be under a blanket in my closet, telling myself everything will be alright.
