Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell Working on Evil Dead TV Series

Comic Con has been huge for the famous horror duo Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Following the explosive announcement of The Last of Us film adaption comes the news that Raimi will once again be collaborating with brother Ted Raimi and Campbell to deliver The Evil Dead TV series. Groovy.

Little information was revealed at Friday’s Screen Gems panel about the project and the capacity Campbell’s involvement is still uncertain. Will he be starring as the legendary Ash Williams or just simply working alongside brothers Raimi to help produce the show? Even if everyone’s favorite one-handed hero doesn’t return, fans of the films should still be incredibly excited about this news.

The future is looking incredible bright for Bruce Campbell. Hail to the king, baby.

So far Raimi has stolen the show in terms of Comic Con announcements. Who else is dying for more information on The Evil Dead TV series?

      1. The Evil Dead reboot blew my expectations out of the water. I couldn’t believe how great that movie was. If the show is half as good as the reboot, I’ll be happy.

  1. Nice. I had read somewhere else that Bruce Campbell was being cast as Joel. That, to me, is a bad decision.
However, having an Evil Dead TV series is a great decision IMO.
