Sony’s Playstation Plus subscription generally pays for itself each month, and September appears to be no different. As usual, owners of the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita will receive two free games each, and we’re not talking old launch titles either.
PS4 owners will get free downloads of the local multi-player party game/friendship breaker Sportsfriends, as well as the indie puzzle shooter, Velocity 2X, which will continue the trend of offering games for free the day they release on the console. Vita owners will also have access to Velocity 2X, thanks to Sony’s Cross Buy program, once it releases on 9/3.
Keeping the tradition alive, PS Vita owners can pick up Joe Danger for free the day it releases on Sony’s handheld, as well as TxK, the remake of the classic game Tempest.
And finally, PS3 owners can pick up Sony’s answer to Super Smash Bros., in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, and the action strategy title Hoard. If you’re also a Vita owner, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale is Cross Buy, so you can enjoy it on the go as well for no additional cost.
