Respawn Entertainment has continued to regularly update their PC and Xbox exclusive shooter, and their upcoming 6th content update appears to offer a game mode without the signature titans. The new mode will be named Pilot Skirmish and feature 8v8 play with no AI or titans, which adds an additional 2 players to each side. This is something similar to more traditional game modes that are player-versus-player only, making this a departure from Titanfall‘s unique game play style.
Not only will there be new game mode added, but additional fixes will be rolled out as well. An existing game mode, Marked for Death, will become a permanent fixture with its own play list due to its popularity among the player base. Matchmaking will also get some fixes like balancing and optimization, and even burn cards are getting their value and earn rates adjusted, as well as a black market.
No release date was given, but look for it to be released prior to the final planned DLC, IMC Rising, that is to be available this fall.
It’s good to see Respawn remaining committed to making their game better. This is still one of the best multi-player experiences for first-person shooters.
